Tendai Muronda

Tendai Muronda was born in Harare, Zimbabwe. He received his college education at Temple University (Philadelphia, PA) where he earned a Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting. To further his education, he earned his first Executive Strategy and Leadership Development at University of California, Los Angeles (“UCLA”) and a few years later at Comcast Corporation (“NBC Universal”).


Tendai is a professional with over 18 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, long-range plans, overseeing company-wide research & financial data analysis, international business, mergers and acquisitions. Additionally, he has over 13 years of extensive experience working for the largest US based Telecommunications Company (Comcast Corporation), where he began as a staff accountant at Comcast and became Vice President in their media subsidiary, NBC Universal. Throughout his career Minister Tendai has lead international cross functional teams, interfacing with Group CFO’s, COO’s, Chairmen, and shareholders. His responsibilities included business (Bravo, Style, Telemundo,Oxygen, ExerciseTV, Fandango, etc.) portfolios in excess of $2 billion dollars.


Tendai has served on the board of Elfreths Alley (a preservation society, PA) and Transcontinental Empowerment Corporation (a ministerial outreach organization, VA).


He is also the Chief Finance and Planning Officer at Lansdowne Podiatry, LLC, alongside his dear wife, Dr. Monique Muronda. They own and operate their business, which currently has three locations: Washington, DC (1) and Virginia (1).


Currently, Pastor Tendai is serving as Executive Pastor at Action Chapel Virginia, at the pleasure of Bishop Dr. Kibby Otoo, the Presiding Bishop of Action Chapel North America (“ACNA”). In this function he assists with general operations, strategic planning and administration for the purpose of satisfying the mission and vision of his Eminence, Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, Founder and Overseer of Action Chapel, International (“ACI”).
